„Es gibt zwei wichtige Dinge in der Malerei: Figuren und Landschaften“, so ANKE WOHLFART (*1964). Schon während des Studiums hat sie sich mit Thema „Landschaften“ auseinandergesetzt – zuerst gegenständlich, dann zunehmend abstrakt.
Auch die Menschen, die sie in teils erlebte, teils erdachte Locationas stellt, muten beinah unwirklich an. Hervorrufen möchte die Künstlerin Assoziationen – will mit Brüchen menschliche Unvollkommenheit zeigen. „Unsere Wahrnehmung verändert sich ständig, diese Bewegung findet sich auch in meinen Bildern wieder.“
ANKE WOHLFART lebt und arbeitet in Wuppertal, sie hat Malerei und Kunstgeschichte in Essen studiert. Ihre Arbeiten werden national sowie international auf Ausstellungen und Kunstmessen präsentiert.

Prepayment
"There are two important things in painting: figures and landscapes", says ANKE WOHLFART (*1964). Already during her studies she dealt with the subject of "landscapes" - first representationally, then increasingly abstractly.
The people she places in partly experienced, partly imagined locations also seem almost unreal. The artist wants to evoke associations - to show human imperfection with breaks. "Our perception is constantly changing, and this movement is also reflected in my paintings.
ANKE WOHLFART lives and works in Wuppertal, she studied painting and art history in Essen. Her works are presented nationally as well as internationally at exhibitions.
