A focus on a single colour, inspiration from his heroes of abstract expressionism, a long fascination for chaos theory, and a sincere reverence for nature: the four fundamental themes that CONOR MCCREEDY (b. 1987 in Johannesburg, South Africa) see as the basis for his work.
The colour nuances of the ocean form the starting point for his monochrome compositions. CONOR MCCREEDY develops his own personal signature on the basis of a specially created combination of five colour components known as "McCreedyblue" - characterised by expressive brushwork that makes both his figurative and abstract paintings unmistakable.
CONOR MCCREEDY, who currently lives in Zurich, is considered to be one of the most outstanding, influential painters of our time and an absolutely exceptional artist.
